About UsDr Jodi Skillen MChiro Doctor of Chiropractic
Having grown up in Loughborough I am really excited to be back home working. Whilst serving as a soldier in the British Army, I became very interested in injuries and rehabilitation. Following six years service I left the Army to pursue a career in Holistic Thearpy. I trained at Tycoch College in Swansea as I loved Wales and decided to settle there. On completion of the course I decided that I wanted to take my education further by studying chiropractic. I qualified from the University of Glamorgan with an undergraduate masters degree in chiropractic in July 2011. After practicing at a clinic in South Wales I decided that I would like to return home to set up my own chiropractic business, so in January 2012 I did and here I am.
I am a member of the General Chiropractic Council and the United Chiropractic Association and I already love being a chiropractor. I enjoy incorporating my holistic therapy skills with chiropractic resulting in a synergistic holistic experience. I have a special interest in pregnancy, chronic fatigue/ME, fibromyalgia, neurological conditions, rehabilitation and performace. I love the great outdoors and can often be spotted walking my dog Jim.
